I'm Dave — a Brisbane-based serial founder who's spent 15 years building and running companies. Business, tech and innovation are where my curiosity lives, and I've gathered real depth across finance, operations, product and co-operative models.

Leadership taught me to learn on the move. Every stage, every industry asked something new. The thread running through all of it is foresight — in growth, in people, in the tough calls. Getting ahead of the problem is what makes the difference.

In 2022 I moved fully into blockchain and Web3, leading operations and product delivery inside a technology team building applications for clients worldwide. I owned everything around the engineering — shaping what got built, turning ideas into clear requirements, coordinating designers and developers, managing clients, and getting products shipped, supported and improved. It gave me a deep, practical grasp of the space and of how digital products come together, without needing to write the code myself.

I've traded the markets since 2017 — nearly a decade across equities, futures and digital assets. What started as manual trading grew into a fully automated operation I designed and built myself, which is how I taught myself AI engineering end to end. I understand markets as a participant, not a spectator: risk, execution, discipline and the psychology that moves them.

Underneath all of it sits 15 years of running companies — owning the P&L, building and leading teams, managing budgets, contracts and stakeholders, and taking products from first idea to launch and iteration. I've held the founder's seat across finance, operations, sales and product, and learned to move fast and adapt to whatever the business needs.

For the last three years I've built software by directing AI — Claude and Claude Code are my daily environment. My craft isn't typing code; it's the architecture, the specification, the context the models work from, and the verification that what they produce actually holds up. The code is AI-generated; the design, the judgement and the operations are mine — which lets one person ship like a whole team.

I've built and run real production systems this way, end to end: automated trading infrastructure, live market-data pipelines, backtesting and research engines, autonomous forecasting agents, and the agent workflows, MCP integrations and scheduled jobs that connect them. I design multi-step agents, give them their own tools and memory, and hold them to a strict verification loop — hypothesis, test, and independent review before anything goes live. Everything from this site to my trading stack, I built and operate myself.

I treat AI as a genuine force multiplier, not a novelty — and I'm looking to bring that, alongside my markets, product and operational experience, to my next role.
